Australian Saay Harari Association was established in 2001 and incorporated in January the following year. As it is the Association belief that the duty of Hararis where ever they live, is to keep alive the cultural heritage that was handed down through generations; it will do it’s at most to pass this obligation to the next generation. To fulfil its duty in culturally appropriate way the Association has the following purposes.

• To assist members at times of difficulty


• To help members in social occasion of sorrow and happiness


• To help Hararis abroad when ever possible and needed


• To assist new arrivals


• To invest on our children so that they become good citizens
